What We Do
Chosen Seed Foundation is transforming the lives of those in Ghana who have not yet experienced the true love of God, His ability to forgive all sins, His transforming power, and His hope of abundant life in Jesus.
We provide Biblical instruction and counseling for those who have been released from prison (Seeds), as well as the families of the Seeds. We educate the entire family on the Lordship of Jesus and the importance of a life surrendered to Him. In addition to teaching and counseling, Chosen Seed trains the Seeds in agricultural skills, livestock, and other trades so they can sustain their livelihood. The goal at Chosen Seed is that both spirit and soul are transformed by the love of Jesus and each Seed can be a productive member of their local community.
Land has been purchased in the Volta Region of Ghana for the Chosen Seed ministry center. The House of God that is to be constructed will consist of a 600-seat chapel to be used as a place of worship, teaching, and prayer, as well as apartments to house the Seeds, and administrative spaces. In addition, the ministry center will have farmland and shed structures for the agricultural and livestock training.

Statement of Values
Reflecting the Character of Jesus
As God’s children, he nurtures and develops our character. He continually moulds us and forms us. He transforms our mind (Rom. 12:2) and works in our life (Phil. 2:13) so we will live out our identity as His child. Reflecting the character of Jesus in a broken world is what being a disciple is all about.
Walking in the Freedom of Christ
We have been set free by Jesus’s sacrifice, but it is a choice to walk in freedom in His strength and by His grace. Psalm 119:45 reminds us of this choice: “I will walk about in Freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.” Chosen Seed will teach those formerly incarcerated, or “Seeds,” what freedom involves: delivered, rescued, set apart, no longer a slave, and no longer captive. Freedom means free of guilt and condemnation, free from the lies of the enemy, free from the schemes and barriers of the enemy. Chosen Seed will help the Seeds understand that they have worth, they are chosen, they have a place in God’s family, they have a purpose and a destiny, and they qualify for the inheritance that the Father has given them. Every Seed will be taught that through their blessing, they are to be a blessing to others! Chosen Seed will help them understand their total freedom and how to walk it.
Building Trust
Chosen seed will mentor the Seeds to live lives that are trustworthy, but more importantly remind them that the most important form of trust we can have is our trust in God. It is our priority to lead all Seeds to have a relationship with God; a relationship in which they will trust in God’s provision and guidance on their life’s journey. Psalm 27:14 reminds us that God's timing isn't always what we would like, but we wait in His strength and trust His guidance. Chosen Seed will disciple the Seeds to put their trust in God as He takes care of them each day, restoring that which had been lost (Joel 2:25).
Bearing Fruit for the Kingdom
Bearing fruit begins with a seed. Chosen Seed desires for each Seed to bear good fruit so that our Father is glorified. Chosen Seed will provide the Seeds with everything needed for them to grow and bear fruit for the kingdom of God. Jesus chooses us and sends us into the world “to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last” (John 15:16). Jesus calls all of us as His disciples to sow the seed of the word to do the work of evangelism in John 4:36-38, that they may gather fruit for eternal life. We are all in partnership with Christ Jesus, as God’s fellow workers (1 Corinthians 3:9a).
